Faculty Development

Overview

The Center for Transformational Learning (CTL) supports faculty development by

  • Promoting a culture that values significant and transformative learning, including the integration of faith into the curriculum
  • Helping faculty learn how to create engaging and effective learning experiences
  • Helping faculty learn how to promote academic integrity
  • Building a sense of community around the discourse of teaching and learning in multiple delivery formats, including traditional, hybrid and distance.

CTL provides professional development for faculty in the form of workshops, training sessions, and brown bag discussion groups. For a complete listing of upcoming development opportunities, visit the Center for Transformational Learning space in MyCampus.

CTL staff also meets with faculty to discuss specific teaching and learning issues, provide confidential feedback based on classroom observations, and explore ways to foster and enhance student learning.
