In May 2018, the School of Business is planning to provide an opportunity for you to travel to Great Britain and Ireland to experience international business and the cultures of Ireland, England, and Scotland! We are launching two tours on this same trip, called “Business Innovation in Dublin, London and Edinburgh” and “International Health Care Organizations and Delivery.”

This adventure will last twelve days and can be taken for college credit, or just for enjoyment and enrichment.  If taken for credit, it will substitute for one of the following courses:

  • The Business Innovation Tour (IBMT 5123) will substitute for the undergraduate class MGMT 4203 International Management or for the graduate-level class MGMT 5363 International Management.
  • The International Health Care Organization and Delivery Tour (HCIM 5423) will substitute for the graduate-level class HCAM 5423 Health Care Organizations and Delivery.

But if you or a friend or relative would just like to go for personal enrichment, you are still welcome to join us!

The academic course work will be completed during the spring semester before departure. A series of workshops will be provided on the main SWU campus, and will be available for online students as well.

This tour is all-inclusive. It covers your airfare, hotels, local guides, transportation, entrance fees to historic sites, visits to businesses, all breakfasts and several dinners. Free time for personal exploration and lunch is also built into the itinerary and will give you the opportunity to sample the local culinary fare of your choice!

Click here to see the itinerary, the tour price and all the added amenities that are included, such as flexible payment options.

The School of Business can also provide you with a number of suggestions for fundraising that can be very helpful. And don’t forget, birthdays, Christmas and Graduation are all occasions that can be an excellent source of funds. So take some time to go on the website and start making your plans for what may be the trip of a lifetime!
