Southern Wesleyan students participate in honors band
Six Southern Wesleyan University Fine Arts students recently participated in the South Carolina Collegiate Honors Band held Jan. 22-24 at Winthrop University. The group was directed by Gary Green, director of bands at the University of Miami. Students were nominated and subsequently auditioned for chair placement. Southern Wesleyan students participating in the 11th annual event were, from left: Nikki Hill of Seneca, Wesley Day of Pickens, Hannah Chapman of Central, Miranda Easterling of Hartsville, Tim Baynard of Clemson and Laurie Morton of Westminster.
