Southern
Wesleyan University welcomed members of the Clemson Area
Chamber of Commerce to March’s Business After Hours
at the university’s campus in Central. Bobby Ballentine
of Heirlooms and Comforts, member of the Chamber’s
Central Area Business Council, signs in at the welcome
table. Chamber members and friends of the university gathered
for food, jazz and an update on the university’s
rapidly-expanding campus. Southern Wesleyan University
President David Spittal announced the April groundbreaking
for a new student dining commons and a new 200-student
residence hall to accommodate the university’s enrollment
boom. The event featured Jamaican pianist Huntley Brown.
