The SC Region 1 Science Fair serves students in Anderson, Abbeville, Laurens, Greenville, Greenwood, Oconee, and Pickens counties. This page provides registration access, important dates, rules, and resources for teachers, students, parents, judges, and volunteers.

All users begin at the same registration portal, regardless of role.

From this portal, you will select your role and be guided through account creation and next steps. The 2026 SC Region 1 Science Fair final registration deadline is Friday, February 27.
Final registration is accomplished by your school coordinator promoting your project to the Region 1 Fair. Contact if you have any questions.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

A: Teachers, students, and mentors all need an account. All students who are competing at the Region 1 Fair must have an account that is linked to their project.

A: No. The registration system provides all required ISEF forms and guides users through simple questions to ensure all necessary documentation is completed correctly.

A: Yes. Initial registration must list a school and be linked to a teacher.

A: Final registration is completed by the school coordinator. School coordinators must promote projects that intend to participate in the Region 1 Fair.

A: Currently, there is no formal limit on the number of projects a school may promote.
However, we recommend no more than 10 projects per school for elementary and middle school levels, with a maximum of 3 students per project.
