Located in South Carolina, Southern Wesleyan University is a Christ-centered, student-focused learning community dedicated to transforming lives.

Professors provide one-on-one mentoring outside the classroom at Southern Wesleyan University

The faith-filled community at SWU is comprised of students, faculty and staff who are passionate about learning and growing, both inside and outside of the classroom.

Fine Arts Events at SWU

Whether you come for a campus visit, fine arts program, or athletic event, SWU seeks to provide educational and cultural opportunities not just to our campus community but to the greater community around us.

You've Been Accepted!

Coming in as a freshman, I was pretty nervous because I live 600 miles from SWU. I knew that once I got here, I would be very far away from everyone and everything that I knew. I was quickly relieved because I learned that all the talk about the strong community of SWU was more than just talk. I grew close to the people on my hall, in my resident building, and met great people through joining SWU Student Activities. Many people have played a part in my coming to love SWU, and people have been very welcoming to me. I was even invited to spend Thanksgiving with a group of friends which was amazing. I have come to love SWU and the great community that is here, and I know that I made the right choice in coming to SWU.
