    Southern Wesleyan University students Chen Chen, Rachel Davenport, Emily Medders and Tina Collins joined many volunteers as part of Women Build, a project organized by Pickens County Habitat for Humanity, in conjunction with Lowe’s of Easley and St. Mark United Methodist Church in Seneca. Groundbreaking was held Jan. 16 in Liberty, S.C. On Jan. 22, volunteers expect to be ready to raise the walls as the frame takes shape. Chen is a communication major from Hefei, China; Davenport is a human services major from Laurens, S.C.; Medders is a math education major from Clemson, S.C.; and Collins is an English major from Liberty, S.C.
