Hundred Acre Woods Trails

Situated at the edge of Southern Wesleyan University's campus, the Hundred Acre Woods offers 6 miles of hiking and biking trails, as well as birding opportunities. Accessible at the end of Clayton Street, the Hundred Acre woods is open to the public from sunrise to sunset.


Developed in collaboration with the Town of Central, Southern Wesleyan University's Hundred Acre Woods is configured in a stacked loop design, allowing users of all skill levels that ability to ride a trail configuration of their choosing. Trail users can choose from the blue (2.3 mi), yellow (1 mi), or red loop (2.8 mi), with the green loop (.2 mi) serving as a connector.

 

Trail Rules:
  • Open sunrise to sunset
  • Stay on trail, respect private property
  • Keep right, pass on left, warn before passing
  • No motorized vehicles
  • No horses
  • Dogs must be leashed
  • Dog owner must pick up after pets
  • Do not alter or remove plants or wildlife
