Dr. Raymond Attawia

TITLE:Assistant Professor of Economics and Management
DEPARTMENT:School of Business
LOCATION:School of Business 114
SWU P.O. BOX:1975

Dr. Attawia says, “I am a Christian, a family man (married 34 years, have four children), am a minister and a teacher of economics.

Oh, I am also a proud immigrant citizen of these great United States!

My journey to SWU began as a convert and a disciple of the ministry of ‘authentic’ Missionaries from the US, Canada and the UK to West Africa. Then I brought my family to Illinois to study. I served as part time pastor in Illinois whilst raising my family and studying for my Ph.D. in Economics. God led me to SWU, and to warmer climate again! I desire to see God use me not only in the classroom but also in ministry here on campus and around the area.”
