PROFILE:

Rebecca Fort is in her 21st year of teaching (10 years of public high school and 10 years at a 2 year technical school). This fall begins her fourth year with SWU (three as an an affiliate faculty, and now as full-time faculty). Fort lives in Easley with her husband, Jason, who is a police officer.  Her son Jay joined the army and is currently at basic training. They have two indoor dogs that were rescued from the shelter. Fort's passion and hobby are teaching and tutoring math. 

"The Lord has blessed me indeed to be able to teach at SWU. It is a dream come true. My prayer is that I can encourage my students as they discover God's will for your life and pursue their calling," Fort said.
