Division of Social Sciences

The Division of Social Sciences prepares you to understand human behavior and apply your understanding to enhancing human experiences and performance. The Division of Social Sciences offers on-campus Bachelor of Science degrees in Criminal Justice Studies, Human Services, Psychology, Recreation and Sport Management, and Social Science, with minors in Administration in Athletics and Recreation, Child and Adolescent Development, Counseling, Criminal Justice, Forensic Psychology, Human Services, Psychology, and Social Science. The Division of Social Sciences offers online Bachelor of Science degrees in Criminal Justice Studies, Human Services, and Psychology, as well as an online Master of Science degree in Counseling Psychology.

As a student in the Division of Social Sciences, you’ll learn about the overlap between the Christian faith and social sciences, explore ethical and practical issues in your chosen field of study, and gain hands-on experience that will prepare you for your career.

Mission Statement

The mission of the Division of Social Sciences is to challenge and enable students to develop their skills and talents to effectively process, analyze, and synthesize a wide variety of information within the context of a Christian worldview. Students and faculty are called to apply these skills and talents to better understand and to more effectively serve God and creation.
