    Southern Wesleyan University student Tadala Kandulu carries a student’s bag toward Childs Hall as Alene Troyano De Abreu helps unload a vehicle. Kandulu, who is from Malawi, is a member of the university’s Women’s Soccer Team and De Abreu is from Brazil.

    New students moved in to the Central campus Aug. 19 to begin the new academic year. Several students, part of SWU’s “Moving Crew,” joined dozens of volunteers from area Wesleyan churches to help new students’ get settled into their rooms.
