2020 P.B. Wood Warrior Open to benefit SWU programs

    Southern Wesleyan University is inviting golfers to Smithfields Country Club in Easley Aug. 24 for the 2020 P.B. Wood Warrior Open.

    Proceeds from this golf tournament will benefit Southern Wesleyan programs. Registration for four-person teams is $500 and individual players, $125. Current and retired pastors will receive a discounted rate of $75 to play. Each team/player will be eligible to receive valuable prizes.

    Registration will begin at 7:30 a.m., followed by a continental breakfast. Shotgun start is at 9 a.m. and a lunch and awards presentation will begin at 1 p.m.

    Also, sponsorship opportunities are still available. Registration deadline is Aug. 17. For details, contact Tony Payne at or (864) 644-5014.
