    Morris Davis receives the Order of the Long Leaf Pine from North Carolina Gov. Pat McCrory, presented by Brevard, N.C. Fire Chief Craig Budzinski in a recent ceremony.

    Morris Davis, a SWU alumnus, retired following a 35-year chaplaincy in the Brevard, N.C., Fire Department. Davis previously worked on the mission field in Zambia. He was also musical director at Brevard Wesleyan Church for 15 years and served as their pastor for 22 years.
