SWU’s Charleston Learning Center recently hosted Charleston County School District teachers in a three-day learning experience, "Capturing Kids' Hearts."

The program provides tools for administrators, faculty and staff to build positive, productive, trusting relationships among themselves and with their students. CKH is a dynamic, skill-driven, participatory experience, and not a theoretical or motivational lecture. Teachers, staff, and administrators learn and practice skills they will use and model in their schools.

“As host, the Charleston learning center had an opportunity to welcome the class, introduce them to SWU and to let them know about our MEDAS, MEDCL degrees, and our content elective offerings,” said Dean Grile, senior director of recruitment services.
