Wesleyan district office benefits from new location, sharing of SWU facilities

Offices for the South Carolina District of The Wesleyan Church recently moved from the Table Rock Retreat and Conference Center in northern Pickens County to Greenville, under the same roof as Southern Wesleyan University’s Greenville education center. Pictured from left are Buddy Rampey, S.C. District superintendent; Joan Rampey, administrative assistant; Dr. Todd Voss, SWU president; and Chad Peters, SWU vice president for enrollment management.

According to Rampey, the new office offers a more accessible and strategic location. Being able to share classroom space, according to Rampey, is another advantage that has enabled the district office to conduct board and committee meetings on site, including the District Board of Administration and District Board of Ministerial Development meetings with ministerial students.

“It’s been a great move. We’ve truly enjoyed connecting with the staff here and sense that it has become a good relationship,” Rampey said.  “It’s also a greater outward sign of the fact that we are connected and part of the same family.”

NOTE: The current location of the S.C. District Office of The Wesleyan Church is Park East Office Park, 150 Executive Center Dr., Greenville, SC. The offices are co-located with SWU's Greenville Education Center.
