    Russian educators visited Southern Wesleyan University to tour the campus in Central and meet with university administrators to exchange ideas about education.

    The Rotary Club of Clemson hosted the group of Russian educators during their visit to the area, introducing them to local education systems and to what life is like in South Carolina. Southern Wesleyan University treated the Rotarians and the Russian group to a luncheon May 1. Rotary President Bill Mays exchanges club banners with Russian facilitator Madina Bikbulatova. James Hansen, second from right, vice president of development at SWU and Rotary Club member, organized the university visit. Other Russian visitors are Irina Nelyubova, Mikhail Mosheyev, Zinaida Arshinskaya, Tatyana Irzina, Olga Izhko, Tatyana Maksimovskaya, Svetlana Kan, Dmitriy Savostenkov, Slava Fedulina and Yelena Zabiyako.
