CENTRAL, SC — Southern Wesleyan University recognized Marsha K. Perrotte as its 2026 Alumna of the Year during the University’s annual Alumni Dinner, held as part of Homecoming weekend.
The Alumna of the Year Award is presented to an individual who demonstrates distinguished professional achievement, faithful service, and a deep commitment to the mission and community of Southern Wesleyan University.
Perrotte, Director of Construction Management at AnMed Health, has built a career marked by leadership, expertise, and lasting impact across the healthcare system. In her current role, she provides oversight for major construction and development initiatives, including the Central/Clemson freestanding emergency department and medical office campus—a project spanning more than 150,000 square feet and exceeding $100 million. She also leads additional campus projects and revitalization efforts in collaboration with executive leadership and strategic planning teams.
A two-time graduate of Southern Wesleyan, Perrotte earned her bachelor’s degree in 2006 and her Master of Science in Healthcare Administration in 2019. Her professional journey reflects nearly four decades of experience in healthcare data, operations, and project leadership, including roles in clinical analytics, planning, and system-wide optimization.
During the award presentation, Rev. Emily Holley, AVP for Advancement, Executive Director of Church Engagement, and Alumni Director, recognized not only Perrotte’s professional accomplishments, but also her character and the values she lives out in both her work and personal life.
“It is clear how much you value your family by the way you demonstrate love, leadership, and legacy,” Holley said. “We are so proud of you and grateful for the opportunity to recognize you.”
Perrotte and her husband are actively involved in mission work through Mt. Bethel Baptist Church, including service in Guatemala, and she currently serves on the Capital Campaign Steering Committee for Hospice of the Upstate.
Together, these efforts reflect a career marked by both leadership and service. Perrotte’s career and contributions reflect the kind of professional excellence and service the University is proud to recognize.
