Southern Wesleyan University Named to Phi Theta Kappa’s 2023 Transfer Honor Roll
CENTRAL, S.C. – SWU is pleased to announce our inclusion on Phi Theta Kappa’s 2023 Transfer Honor Roll list.
Phi Theta Kappa, an international honor society, recognizes colleges and universities that support community college transfer students. SWU is one of 208 schools named on the 2023 Transfer Honor Roll.
“Southern Wesleyan University is honored to again be recognized by Phi Theta Kappa for their transfer honor roll. SWU has numerous articulation agreements with our local technical colleges and regional colleges and universities that provide students with a simple pathway to transfer into a four-year major,” said Dr. Brian Swords, VP of Enrollment Management.
Phi Theta Kappa assesses 40 metrics related to serving transfer students, like tuition costs and financial aid, campus life, and degree completion rates. SWU is proud to be one of the most transfer-friendly schools nationwide.
Dr. Swords added, “Our admissions counselors are eager to work with anyone looking to transfer. Even if you’ve been out of college for a while and you’re looking to complete that degree, there’s still a possibility to earn credit at SWU from previous coursework, as well as your military training and work experience.
