Southern Wesleyan University presents ‘Little Women’

    Southern Wesleyan University’s Fine Arts Division will present a musical based on the beloved literary classic, “Little Women” March 28-30.

    This musical is based on Louisa May Alcott's 1869 semi-autobiographical novel with a book by Allan Knee, lyrics by Mindi Dickstein, and music by Jason Howland. Appropriate and engaging for all ages, this musical follows the adventurous Jo March as she realizes her dream of becoming a successful writer.

    Performances will take place March 28 and 29 at 7:30 p.m. and there will be two performances March 30 – a 2 p.m. matinee and the final performance at 7:30 p.m.

    Ticket prices are $15 for adults and $10 for non-SWU students, children, and seniors. Tickets are available online at swu.edu/boxoffice.

    Alumni and Friends are invited to a special luncheon at The Founders, prior to the 2 p.m. matinee performance Saturday, March 30.  VIP ticket costs $20 and includes one lunch and one ticket (reserved seating) for the matinee. There will be a special performance by select cast members during the lunch. This exclusive experience has limited seats and reservations are required. Go to swu.edu/boxoffice to secure tickets.
