Southern Wesleyan University’s M.Ed. Ranked in US News – #3 Best Online M.Ed. Program in SC
CENTRAL, S.C. – U.S. News 2023 Best Online Programs recognized Southern Wesleyan University’s (SWU) Master’s in Education degree program as the #3 best online master in education program in South Carolina and #37 overall.
The U.S. News rankings use an in-depth evaluation of more than 1,800 programs nationwide and reflect indicators of academic excellence like engagement, faculty credentials, peer assessment, services and technologies, and student excellence.
Dr. Tyler Watts, Assistant Professor of Education, said, “The M.Ed. in Instructional Design and eLearning not only teaches about effective online instructional practices, but we seek to embody these practices in our program. We are grateful that this ranking recognizes the effort we have put into this program and our other programs around academic quality and student success.”
SWU’s online Master’s in Education program offers three paths for students: Administration and Supervision, Classroom Leadership, and Instructional Design and eLearning.
