    Dr. Brian Swords, a 1995 Southern Wesleyan University business graduate from Liberty and director of Tri-County Technical College’s Easley Campus and QuickJobs Training Centers, is being recognized as Administrator of the Year.

    Swords is being honored at the February meeting of the S.C. Technical Education Association (SCTEA), a professional association of technical education personnel and others interested in post-secondary technical education.

    Swords has been instrumental in partnerships with Southern Wesleyan to offer four-year business and human services degree programs at the Easley Campus. An active member of the community, he serves as chairman of the Greater Easley Chamber of Commerce, is an active member of the Easley Rotary Club, is chairman of the Junior Leadership Pickens County Board of Directors and is a member of the Board of Visitors at Southern Wesleyan University. Swords recently was named to the Leadership SC Class of 2014.
