SWU Stands Ready to Assist Limestone Students

CENTRAL, S.C. — In light of Limestone University’s closure, Southern Wesleyan University stands ready to assist Limestone students through a smooth transfer process to graduate on time and maintain affordability while getting a quality education.
“We are committed to being the most affordable Upstate South Carolina option for Limestone students,” announced Southern Wesleyan’s Vice President for Enrollment, Dr. Karl Hatton, after visiting the campus in Gaffney last Friday for a college transfer fair. “Our goal is to help you continue your education with strong financial support, while delivering the academic excellence and Christ-centered community you expect and deserve. We want to meet or beat your current cost of attendance so you can finish strong at Southern Wesleyan.”
Limestone University’s Board of Trustees decided to close the school at the end of the current academic semester. Southern Wesleyan University is prepared to provide a streamlined transfer experience for Limestone students seeking an alternative for their residential and online university experience.
