Women finish strong in NCAA National Championship

    Southern Wesleyan competed in the 4x100 NCAA DII National Championship Relay on Saturday, May 25 at Kingsville, Tex. 

    The Women's 4x100 Meter Relay team of Michele Beugre, Jami Lewis, Lyric King and Amanda Trapp placed seventh with a time of 47.99 in the finals. These four ladies are named All-Americans after a phenomenal season on the track. They came into the championships as the 12th seed and walk away as the 7th fastest team in the nation after completing their sixth year as a program at Southern Wesleyan. 

    Coach Greg Thiel mentions that the team has represented the university and the Lord throughout the entire year and have done a tremendous job.
