The faith-filled community at SWU is comprised of students, faculty and staff who are passionate about learning and growing, both inside and outside of the classroom.

Day of Service

The Day of Service is a day that has been dedicated to serving others. In honor of this day, there are no classes for on-campus students. Some projects will occur in the morning, afternoon, or all day. Students receive chapel credit for participating in one of the University-sponsored projects.

On-Campus

Potter's Place

The Potter's Place, located in Central, provides an environment of quiet solitude in which those who come can seek God and be molded into the vessel "The Potter" desires. Volunteers removed and hauled dead wood to burn piles, painting, window washing, planting flowers, and general outdoor work.

Student Success Center

Students will assist in moving furniture for the new Student Success Center in the Stu-Be and Library Basement.
