Every 4th Monday in February, Southern Wesleyan University invites South Carolina Government and Legislative Senators and House of Representatives to an appreciation event on SWU's Central campus. Prior to the event, recipients of the South Carolina tuition grants complete thank you letters to the representatives for supporting such scholarships.
