Dr. Atrez R. M. Flemings is an Assistant Professor of Education at Southern Wesleyan University, where he teaches, advises, and supports future educators across early childhood, elementary, and special education programs. He holds an Ed.D. in Special Education from Liberty University and brings more than two decades of experience spanning higher education, K–12 special education, academic support services, and youth program leadership. At SWU, Dr. Flemings also directs the Call Me MiSTER and Teacher Cadet programs and contributes to institutional initiatives, including the development of the university’s Artificial Intelligence policy. His professional expertise includes special education, curriculum and instruction, academic accessibility, and educator preparation. A dedicated advocate for student success, he remains actively engaged in professional organizations and regularly presents on topics related to technology, literacy, and social‑emotional learning in education.
