Minor in Early Childhood and Family Studies

This minor provides a foundation for students majoring in other disciplines who wish to increase their knowledge, skills, and dispositions within a Christian ethic of care about children and their families. Students pursuing careers in psychology, religion, business among other majors would find this minor useful in their careers. According to the Occupational Outlook Handbook: U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, Employment projections data for Preschool and Childcare Center Directors will increase by 11% between 2016-2026, with the median pay in 2016 at $45,790 per year/$22.01 per hour.
