Healthcare Administration

The Healthcare Administration concentration is designed to prepare you for careers in the growing healthcare industry who need senior management leaders and executive administrators to lead organizational growth and quality through an ever-changing industry landscape. You will learn skills for effective organizational leadership and data-based decision making that can be applied to actual healthcare management situations. This concentration also centers on servant leadership based on Christian principles as they affect the healthcare environment.


The Management concentration is designed to teach you in-depth leadership skills and practical ways to manage teams, organizational change, and meeting organizational goals through teamwork. Project and Quality Management

Pursuing this concentration will focus on project management, human factors and team management dynamics, and total quality management. Admission Requirements for Master of Science in Management and Leadership
  • Submission of a completed application
  • $25 application fee
  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university
  • Experience in a healthcare setting of at least one year (healthcare administration concentration student only)
  • GPA of 2.7 or better on all undergraduate coursework or on the final 60 hours of undergraduate coursework
  • If GPA is less than 2.7 but better than 2.5, students may be granted conditional admission if approved by the Admission Committee
  • If GPA is less than 2.5 and upon approval of the Admission Committee, students may take the GMAT and present a score of 450 or greater for consideration. Admission to the program is not guaranteed by taking the GMAT.
  • Official transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate work
  • Applicants for whom English is a second language, applicant must submit an official TOEFL score of at least 550 (paper test), 213 (computer test) or equivalent evidence of proficiency in English.
