Christian college students interact in Blue Hill Coffee, a student-run enterprise at SWU.

The faith-filled community at SWU is comprised of students, faculty and staff who are passionate about learning and growing, both inside and outside of the classroom.

Week of Giving 2020 is Week of Caring at Southern Wesleyan University! #SWUcares

Warriors at heart. Your campus experience may only last a few years, but your connection to Southern Wesleyan can last a lifetime. Stay connected to SWU through events, publications, and social media.

SWU provides a Christian college environment for fine arts engagement opportunities.

Whether you come for a campus visit, fine arts program, or athletic event, SWU seeks to provide educational and cultural opportunities not just to our campus community but to the greater community around us.

Course Reserves

Please use the Course Reserves Form to request that books, photocopies of articles, or audiovisual material be placed on reserve for your course.

Please allow 3 to 5 days for processing before announcing to your students that the items are available in the library.

Photocopies that will be used in multiple semesters may need copyright clearance.  Please contact Jenn Mealy for more information.  The Library reserves the right to refuse to place on reserve items that do not meet fair use guidelines.

Electronic reserves are possible within MySWU, and we can assist with that as well.

  • For articles that are available in full text from one of the library's databases, inserting a persistent link into a citation on MySWU is sufficient to both provide access and satisfy copyright and fair use contstraints.  Persistent links are generally provided within the detailed records in the databases.
  • For articles that must be scanned, it may be necessary to seek copyright clearance. Please contact Jenn Mealy for more information on fair use within electronic reserves.
