Join us for our 6th annual Southern Sporting Clay Classic at Evergreen Plantation to benefit Southern Wesleyan University.

Shooters will enjoy an afternoon of clay shooting at four shooting locations - all on one property at Evergreen Plantation in Starr, SC!  Each location (the Plantation, the Big Oak, the Hilltop and the famous Covered Bridge) are unique in their own way and provides a variety of shot angles for shooters of ALL skill levels.  You can shoot one location or you can shoot them all!  Bring as many shells as you want because it is UNLIMITED shooting!

The Southern Sporting Clay Classic is not your average run of the mill sporting clay event, it is an experience. Not only will you have the opportunity to shoot at four unique locations, you will also enjoy a dinner with oyster appetizers, an assortment of prizes and much more!

The Southern Sporting Clay Classic will raise funds to support student scholarships.

After the clay shooting, participants enjoyed oyster appetizers, followed by a Lowcountry Boil.

 Lt. Col. Gary Nelson, USAF (Ret.) (left) enjoys conversation with SWU President Dr. Todd Voss over oyster appetizers. Nelson, who served as the lead pilot for Air Force One during the Presidencies of George Bush Sr. and Bill Clinton, was this year's dinner speaker.
